Cherry trifle

Trifle is a delicious and fun dessert usually made by layering sponge cake, custard, fruit, jelly and cream. This is super easy and quick. If you are having guests over, don't have the time to make an elaborate dessert, this one is a life saver and always leaves an impression. Picture this... spongy cake, covered with jelly, topped with luscious sweet ripe cherries and lots of cream and chocolate... all in one scrumptious glass... how can you go wrong!

Cherry crumble

I love fruit based desserts. Cherries are something I absolutely adore... they are just so cute, gorgeous red, juicy n plump. Whenever they are in season I am always tempted to buy them every time I see them anywhere :) Had bought some from the farmer's market yesterday.. was craving something sweet after dinner.. so this recipe was born. Simple, quick and totally decadent. We had it with some vanilla ice-cream and the warm yummy dessert with the crunchy crumble topping and the soft sweet gooey cherries beneath it.. was heaven! We loved it.
